Faith Cottage is just 200 yards from the centre of the North Yorkshire village of Askrigg(*probably better known to television viewers as ‘Darrowby’ in ‘All Creatures Great and Small’) and has been painstakingly restored in the style of the original cottage built on this site in the 17th century.
Facing east, the cottage is surrounded by similarly attractive dwellings. Light and airy and updated throughout:-
GROUND FLOOR:
A spacious lounge with comfortable sofa and chairs plus, cosy open fire.
Hall and storage space.Very well equipped farmhouse kitchen with:
oven, ceramic hob, extractor canopy, larder fridge, larder freezer and lots of other features detailed at the foot of this page.
UPSTAIRS:
1 king size, 1 double and 1 twin bedrooms
Bathroom: bath, wash basin, toilet, extractor fan, shower cubicle.
Lovely views to be enjoyed by some of the upstairs rooms.
Also includes freesat!
OUTSIDE:
* All areas are walled, gated and fully enclosed. (We are happy to allow one well behaved pet if the guest wishes.)
Patio with stone seat, garden furniture and lawned area.
